Hi!
I like the film, I think is a good reflection about the reality of Ireland in the 20's. I don't even know about de fight for the independence of this nation. So with this movie I could know a little more about this history. Also, the characters are very important to understand all the conflict, so I think its a good representation, maybe a little raw but always the reality is more raw than fiction.
My favourite character is Sinead, she is strong and fight for the independence. She never gives up even after the Brithish soldiers cuts her hair.
I like the way how the movie shows the Ireland history. I mean, you can see all the conflict points. I don't like the torture scene, I put my hands in my face in thar part. It's extremely cruel.
My favourite scene was when Damien says to his brother than he doesn't go to give up. So, Damien didn't denouce to the Irish Republican Army and he died for that.
